  Hi Jude,

This is a car built for the UK market (RHD) and as such would still have the trafficators whereas the Alpines destined for the US market were fitted with the flashing turn signals. The early 50's cars were built in this transition period. Having said that, although my Alpine has flashers, my 1953 Saloon is fitted with trafficators. Go figure!

  Bob

    Hi Bob and all

    Lovely!

Looking at the trafficators, I'm now wondering when they changed to indicators. My 1954 Mk III has "modern" flashing indicators (which are not very bright, I'm told!) but does anyone know? Google not very helpful on the subject ...

    Thanks

    Jude

      Hi,

Looks like another good restoration other than the wrong size tyres. I wonder if it is being sold by a subscriber to this email list.

      Later,

      Bob
