Hi-

Just a quick note to say another big thank you to helping us out. I am
impressed every time I post a note to how people go out of there way to
email or even call me (Joe! ). Your insight and help has been wonderful.

As many of you have asked me the status I will write a brief summary...I am
still writing checks - who knew a car could be more demanding of my $$ then
3 teenage sons. We can see the finish line though. The remaining piece is to
get the seats and carpet done.

Joe had a great idea about getting the seats while we are in London. My
husband is NOT thrilled about dragging them thru customs but it will save $$
so he was now willing. I suspect now that our son will be going to school at
St Andrews we will be in country a great deal so we can continue to get
spare parts as needed.

The engine was completely re-built and they discovered some cracked parts
which where replaced and now she sounds great! The engine was steam cleaned
and looks brand new.

I am having pictures uploaded to my flickr page so I will send the link as
soon as they are there.

Our 25th wedding anniversary is Oct 12th and this car was my gift...but I am
not holding my breathe on being bale to drive around in it by then. Maybe by
my birthday in Novemeber...or Christmas.
