Hi All.I far as I can remember the Carpet to Vinyl door trim didn't have the carpet bound edge,it was as my photo shows,the carpet was "Back Stitched" a trimming term, they know what that means, the carpet butted up to the vinyl,without a sharp edge showing.  Mal Clark.
