Hi Ray, Was it you that was interested in what to do about the heat eminating from the engine and trans etc? I am in the final stages of preparing my body for paint. I spayed a ceramic product called Lizard Skin on the inside of the fire wall and the floor
.This 20mil coating will reduce temp by 20 degrees and will not alter how carpets fit. I addition I will use matting that has a layer of foil. I also made up new Bituinus shields as per the originals but incororated two to three layers of foil matting between the tar paper layers. Was unable to find 60# tar paper as per original so I used two layers of 30# contact cemented with 3M water base contact cement. When this cures it is as one piece.
