Hi Ray,

I removed the box on my drophead for a cleanup and repaint, and I  
don't remember it being that tough a job.  I like to liberally coat  
the outside of the heater control cable sheaths with  a medium weight  
oil.  It will soak through the spiral wire of the outer sheath and  
lubricate the inner cable.
