Dear Ray,
       Once you have followed Mal's directions for the removal of your
heater, can I suggest that you don't put it back until you have paid
considerable attention to the operating cables for the heat and direction
controls. These can frequently be stiff to operate and the pinch bolts can
easily slip. Lubricating the cables or retightening the connections is near
impossible with the heater in situ. Despite trying my best while the heater
was out I still wound up with no heat for 8 days in near arctic conditions.
