Greetings  All the parts you need to rebuild the gearbox are available  
from the Bamforth's.
These boxes are quite simple and straightforward and easy to rebuild.
the one critical thing is you must take all the slop out of the linkage  
(bushings, cable, etc.)
and get the adjustment of the shift arms spot on. if you don't have the  
shop manual get one,
they are available from Mercian manuals.   they also have parts  and 
drivers manuals.

Talbot  drophead which has a bad transmission. 
We need a set of synchros and a  1st/reverse slider, a reverse idler and a 
cluster gear. The owner really wants  to stay original and keep the column 
shift. We will look at all options though  regarding an transmission swap but 
to rebuild the original trans would be the  first choice. We have two 
transmissions and both have identical damage which  probably matches all the rest 
in the world!
