[Sunbeam Talbot Email List] Summer driving

I just returned from a nice show in Grapevine, TX.
When I got there, I found out my car was literally the poster car for
the show (created from a picture taken last year.) How delightful.

The trip itself was uneventful. Oil pressure eventually wandered down to
about 30, and idled about 25. Water temp maintained a nice 175-deg F.
Charging system was 13.7V and a slight + on the ammeter. All good.
Gearbox still leaks a little, but no big concern.

The temperature in the cabin was another story. Good heavens, I am
getting copious heat from the engine bay somehow. I've taken steps to
plug obvious holes and make flaps (steering column etc. ) more snug fitting.

Is it just me? Any suggestions?
